Actually safari is the stretched version of harrier so rear seat comfort is less.but an innova has better space than safari.if you are on budget and features go for safari or if you are on the side of reliability ,comfort and resale value go for innova.

If you want features you may go for safari.......and if you want more space comfort and resale value innova is the best option for you

If we’ve to personally pick a car we’d go for safari, agreed that Innova is a no non sense car but safari is more sportier than Innova, it got a better build quality and it’ll be feature loaded. If you spend 20 lakh rs on a car and get a bland interior, it’s not worth it. 
Only case you should buy an Innova is if you’ll be planning to change your car soon, in that case you’ll be getting a much better resale value than safari.
