Hyundai has finally launched the facelift of creta which is 2 years after the global debut of the car. Considering how quickly Hyundai updates cars this time hyundai creta facelift has taken quite a long time to launch.
As you will be able to notice that this new Russia spec creta gets some cosmetic updates. The first thing you will notice is the front grill which looks strikingly similar the the front grill on the newly launched Hyundai Alcazar in India. It also gets new bumper design and sleeker looking body thanks to the freshly added creases. Other features like the tri-beam LED headlamps, crescent glow LED DRLs and bumper mounted trapezoidal shaped fog lamps are similar to the Creta which is available in India.
The interior of the Russian spec creta remain similar to the indian spec version with the same dual tone brown and black finish alongside the big touch infotainment system that has been the highlight of the new creta. Other features such as BlueLink connectivity, Android Auto and Apple carplay; panoramic sunroof, climate control, multi drive modes and heated seats remain similar to the Indian spec creta.
The Russian spec creta gets a 1.6-litre and a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine which 119 BHP and 148 BHP respectively which will be paired with 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission.
Coming to the rear of the russian creta, it loses the connecting strip between the tail lamps and still manages to look sportier than the Indian Creta.
All new Hyundai Creta is expected to launch in China by 2022 and in India by early 2023 and it will likely have a similar design as the creta launched in Russia.
